Working with us

You deal with the people doing the work

No account manager relaying messages to a production team you never meet. Questions get answered properly, and decisions do not take a week.

  • A written scope and a fixed price before anything starts
  • A preview link from early on, not a reveal at the end
  • Agreed revision rounds, so changes never run away
  • Accounts and source files handed over at the end
  • Told early if a deadline is at risk, not afterwards

How it works

No surprises, at any stage

Every step is agreed in writing before the next one starts. You always know what is happening, what it costs and what happens if you want to stop.

  1. Talk it through

A conversation about what you are trying to achieve and what is getting in the way. No charge, and no obligation at the end of it.

  2. Written proposal

You get the scope, the cost, the timescale and what we need from you, in writing, before any work starts or any money changes hands.

  3. We build it

Work runs against the agreed plan, with something to look at early and regular check-ins so nothing is a surprise at the end.

  4. Launch and hand over

We go live, check everything works, and hand over the accounts and files. You are never locked in to keep us.

Why us

What you can hold us to

We would rather commit to things we can actually promise than quote numbers nobody can check.

You get a straight answer

If a piece of work will not pay for itself, we say so before you commission it. Talking somebody out of the wrong project is cheaper for everybody than delivering it.

Priced up front, in writing

You get a written quote with the scope, the cost and the revision rounds set out before anything begins. No open-ended hourly billing and no surprise invoice at the end.

Everything stays in your name

Domains, hosting, analytics and advertising accounts are set up as yours, billed to you, with no margin added. If you ever leave, you take the lot with you.

Built to be fast

Speed is treated as a requirement, not a nice-to-have. Images are sized properly, scripts are kept to what is needed, and the result is measured rather than assumed.

Compliance handled properly

Cookie notice, consent on every form, a real privacy policy and accessible markup — done as part of the build rather than bolted on after a complaint.

Nothing left as filler

No Lorem ipsum, no stock testimonials, no counters sat at zero. If a section has nothing true to say yet, it does not ship until it does.

Questions

Things people ask first

If your question is not here, ask it — we will give you a straight answer.

How much does a website cost?

It depends on the number of pages, whether you need to edit the site yourself, and whether the content is written. Rather than quote a range that means nothing, we will give you a fixed written price after one short conversation about what you actually need.

Do you work with small businesses?

Yes — that is most of what we do. A small business usually needs a handful of pages that load quickly, say clearly what it does and make it easy to get in touch. That is a well-defined job, and it does not need to be expensive.

Can you take over a website somebody else built?

Usually yes. We will look at what is there and tell you honestly whether it is worth improving or whether rebuilding will cost you less in the long run. Either way you get the reasoning, not just the recommendation.

What do you need from me to get started?

Your business details, what services you want to promote, and access to any accounts that already exist. If you have photographs of your own work, those help a great deal. We can write the words around whatever you give us.

Do you take payment up front?

Part of it, yes. Terms are set out in the written proposal before you agree to anything, so you know exactly what is due and when before you commit.

Let's talk about your project

Tell us what you are trying to achieve and we will tell you honestly what it takes, what it costs, and whether we are the right people for it.
