Graphic design

Design work is worth very little if it only exists as a JPEG somebody emailed you. We produce artwork to a consistent standard and hand over the working files, so the next person who needs to change a phone number on a leaflet can do it without starting again.

Graphic design

Consistency is what makes a small business look established

Businesses rarely look unprofessional because of one bad design. They look unprofessional because the logo on the van does not match the one on the invoice, the website uses a different blue, and the leaflet uses whichever typeface was on the laptop that day. Fixing that costs less than most owners expect and changes how the business is perceived immediately.

So the useful deliverable is not a single logo file — it is a small, clear set of rules and assets: the mark in the formats you will actually be asked for, the exact colours, the typefaces, and templates for the things you produce often. After that, everything new fits without a discussion.

Why it matters

Consistency is what makes a small business look established

Businesses rarely look unprofessional because of one bad design. Fixing that costs less than most owners expect and changes how the business is perceived immediately.

What's included

What graphic design covers

Logo and brand identity

A primary mark plus the variations real life demands — reversed, single colour, square, and small enough for a profile picture.

Brand guidelines

A short, practical document setting out colours, typefaces, spacing and how the logo may and may not be used.

Print artwork

Business cards, leaflets, brochures, signage and vehicle graphics, supplied print-ready with correct bleed and colour setup.

Digital and social artwork

Social templates, profile and cover images, email headers and advertising creative, all sized correctly per platform.

Presentation and document templates

Proposal, quotation and slide templates you can fill in yourself, so day-to-day paperwork stays on brand without a designer.

Source files, handed over

Editable working files plus vector and web-ready exports. The artwork is yours to take anywhere, including to another designer.

How it runs

Four stages, agreed as we go

  1. Brief

We agree what the design is for, who it speaks to, and what it must sit alongside — existing signage, vehicles, uniforms, anything already out there.

  2. Concepts

You are shown a small number of distinct directions rather than twenty variations of the same idea, each with a short note on the thinking.

  3. Refinement

One direction is chosen and developed through the agreed number of revision rounds until it is right.

  4. Artwork and handover

Final files are produced in every format you need, checked for print, and handed over with the guidelines.

Questions

Graphic Design: common questions

How many concepts and revisions do I get?

The number of concepts and revision rounds is agreed in writing before we start, so neither side is guessing. Extra rounds beyond that are quoted separately rather than absorbed silently, which is what keeps the original price honest.

Do I own the finished design?

Yes. On final payment the artwork and its source files are yours. We will say clearly at the outset if any element — a licensed typeface, for example — carries its own terms you need to be aware of.

Can you work with my existing logo rather than replace it?

Often that is the right call, particularly if the logo is already on vehicles or signage. We can rebuild it cleanly as a vector file, tidy it up, and build a consistent identity around it without a full redesign.

Can you handle the printing too?

We supply print-ready artwork and can recommend printers, but printing is paid by you directly to the printer in your own name. We do not add a margin to it.
